11A - EASY APRON -SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11 - 1:30-5:00PM - 3.5 HOURS - In this class you will learn how to construct a simple half apron. The ties will be made with grosgrain ribbon. This is also a great class for beginners. More advanced students can be shown how to "stack cut" the apron and use a production sewing method to be able to construct this apron in less time and/or be shown how to make a pocket with a contrasting border and flat piping. You may also choose to make the Reversible Apron seen in the attached photos. Bring 1.5 - 2 yards of fabric that is 42”-45” wide depending on your size, of two different fabrics - one for each side of the apron. Email me with your bust, waist, and hip measurements when you register, and I will let you know how much fabric to purchase. I will have the pattern ready for you in class for $5.00. Depending on your skill level, you can make 1 Pocket, 2, 3, or 4. This is a GREAT Beginner project! More Advanced Sewists can add challenge by the number and style of the pockets. I can show you many different styles!
