About Sewing 101
- I offer several sessions of Sewing 101 each season
- Each session is 4 classes, once a week, from 2:30 – 6pm (3.5 hours). That’s 14 hours of class time!
- Attendance is capped at 3 people so I can give each person individual attention
- Sewing 101 can be repeated many times. You can bring a new project or keep working on the project from the previous class series until it is finished!
Location
- All classes are taught from my studio at 3009 Barrett Ave, Richmond, CA
Cost
- $200 per person per 4-week session
- If a parent signs up with a child to work on a project together, the total cost is $300
Age and Skill Levels
- All ages welcome – from child to adult
- Children as young as _ years old are welcome to attend on their own
- Suitable for all levels – beginners can learn the basics and more experiences sewists can tackle a demanding project
- Good projects for beginners could be a pair of pajama bottoms, a tote bag or a simple skirt
What to Bring
- Please bring your sewing machine if you have one, or machines will be provided
- Supply list will be emailed upon registration
Private Lessons
- Private lessons are also available for $40/hr. (2 hour minimum, 3 hours recommended)
- Private lessons can be done in person at my studio, on Zoom or on Facetime
Cancellation Policy
- Notification must be received by one week prior to the class date for a refund
- Notification after that receives no refund
- In the event that a class is canceled you will be offered a refund or class credit
Covid Safety
- All Sewing Machines, Overlocks, Equipment, Tables, and Chairs will be disinfected prior to each class meeting
- I am fully vaccinated
